About this photo

A black and white manga interior of the last train at midnight, drawn from a low seated angle: a commuter with a shaved undercut and a long dark braid grips a strap in three-quarter back view while four other passengers sit as soft grey silhouettes. Ink contours, dense blacks in the windows and restrained screentone on the seats hold the harsh overhead fluorescent light.
