About this photo

An original young man in a loose white shirt with rolled sleeves stands at a compact kitchen counter late at night, tipping a frying pan so the vegetables catch the light, steam rising past his shoulder. He looks over at the viewer with an easy grin while a single pendant lamp lights the scene. The left side of the wide frame stays open as a dark quiet kitchen wall.
