About this photo

Airship mechanic under a hull. A character with short and stocky with powerful forearms and a wide stance, round face with a grease smudge on one cheek, bright grey eyes, a lopsided grin. Hair: copper bob tucked under pushed-up goggles. Wearing canvas overalls over a striped shirt, heavy welding gloves, a tool belt. Lying on a creeper under the airship hull, wrench in hand, one boot braced in a wooden hangar with an airship hull, hanging chains, crates and coiled ropes, lit by warm work lamps from the side cutting through dust. Drawn as a clean anime illustration with cel shading and a restrained palette, composed for editorial and wallpaper use.
