About this photo

Desert guide at the dunes. A character with wiry and sun-darkened with a horseman's build, deep-set dark eyes, weathered cheeks, a quiet smile. Hair: shaved head under a wrapped indigo scarf, a short black beard. Wearing layered sand and indigo robes, a wide sash, a curved knife at the belt, sandals. Standing beside a kneeling camel, one hand resting on the saddle, looking into the wind in rolling dunes at sunset with a faint caravan trail and distant rock spires, lit by warm low sun with cool blue shadow in the dune hollows. Drawn as a clean anime illustration with cel shading and a restrained palette, composed for editorial and wallpaper use.
