About this photo

A wide oil painting of a frozen lake at dawn: pale pink and gold on the horizon, pines in silhouette on the right, cracked ice in the foreground reflecting the sky and low mist drifting over the surface. Visible brush strokes and thick paint texture set cold blue shadows against warm dawn light.
