About this photo

A single piece of grilled unagi nigiri sushi on a handcrafted ceramic plate. Glossy freshwater eel glazed with sweet tare sauce rests over sushi rice, finished with a nori band and toasted sesame. Soft natural window light and a close three-quarter angle highlight the caramelized glaze — ideal for menus and premium Japanese food photography.
