About this photo

Mountain monk at dawn. A character with lean and weathered with long arms and calloused hands, deep-set dark eyes, sun-lined face, calm neutral expression. Hair: shaved head with a faint stubble shadow. Wearing saffron and ochre robes wrapped over one shoulder, wooden prayer beads, straw sandals. Standing at the edge of a cliff with hands together, robe lifting in the wind in a high mountain ledge above a sea of clouds with a stone cairn, lit by cool blue dawn in the valley with warm gold rim light on the horizon. Drawn as a clean anime illustration with cel shading and a restrained palette, composed for editorial and wallpaper use.
