About this photo

A single piece of fresh tuna (maguro) nigiri sushi on a handcrafted ceramic plate. Deep ruby-red tuna with a subtle glossy sheen rests over a compact mound of sushi rice, accented with wasabi and pickled ginger. Soft natural window light and a close three-quarter angle bring out the rich colour and smooth texture — ideal for menus and premium food photography.
